Data Scale & Tiers

To effectively capture and reward user engagement within Web3 ecosystems, we utilize a clearly defined three-tier Data Value Quality Scale. This system categorizes users based on their depth of interaction, frequency of transactions, and overall involvement across decentralized platforms. By distinguishing between high, moderate, and low-value data, we ensure precise targeting and incentivization tailored to each user's behavior, maximizing value exchange and driving continuous, meaningful participation.
Characteristics of Tier 1 Data:
High Engagement with Web3 Protocols and Exchanges: Users frequently interact with popular decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and on-chain protocols, such as Uniswap, Aave, or Compound.
Active Usage of DeFi & Web3 Platforms: They regularly use DeFi applications, NFT marketplaces (e.g., OpenSea), and other dApps.
Frequent Large-Volume Transactions: High volume or high-frequency trading, staking, or liquidity providing.
Cross-Platform and Cross-Blockchain Activity: Engages across different blockchains (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain), reflecting both range and commitment to decentralized ecosystems.
Value Characteristics:
Trustworthiness & Scale: This data is valuable for ad targeting, as it represents individuals with deep involvement in blockchain ecosystems, showing high trustworthiness and scale.
Revenue Potential: Indicates high purchasing power and willingness to engage in meaningful financial activities, making them prime candidates for high-tier rewards.
Characteristics of Tier 2 Data:
Moderate Usage of Exchanges and Web3 Applications: Users interact with exchanges like Coinbase, Binance, or smaller decentralized platforms with a steady but moderate trading volume.
General Participation in Web3 Platforms: Shows occasional use of DeFi or NFT platforms without high engagement or significant investments.
Mid-Level Transaction Volumes: Engages in mid-sized transactions or holds an average wallet balance.
Cross-Platform Interactions without High Frequency: Uses multiple platforms but not extensively, indicating theyβre familiar with Web3 but not deeply embedded.
Value Characteristics:
Engagement Potential: Shows a medium level of Web3 engagement, suggesting theyβre open to increasing involvement with incentives.
Conversion Opportunity: These users might need encouragement to become more active, providing good potential for targeted rewards and higher engagement with moderate incentives.
Characteristics of Tier 3 Data:
Minimal or Infrequent Web3 Engagement: Limited to basic activities, such as infrequent small trades or passive holdings on major centralized exchanges (CEXs) without venturing into DeFi.
No dApp or Web3 Application Usage: Primarily engages in minimal exchange activities, often not using decentralized exchanges or other Web3 tools.
Low Transaction Volume: Engages in low-value or low-frequency transactions, indicating a lack of investment or trust in the ecosystem.
Single-Platform Activity: Primarily interacts with a single platform (e.g., one exchange) without diversifying across other Web3 tools.
Value Characteristics:
Low Engagement & Conversion Likelihood: This data represents users less likely to engage deeply in Web3, making it less valuable for immediate incentives or targeting.
Limited Revenue Potential: Lower purchasing power and willingness to engage, so incentives would need to be adjusted to encourage further involvement.
For each user, this scale can assign a value score based on their activity and engagement across these categories. By regularly updating and assessing their engagement level, users could shift between tiers depending on their actions, providing dynamic opportunities for rewards and incentives.
